The header row is frozen, the list has filters, rows are pre-sized for photos (about 90 px) and the second sheet has short instructions. Three example rows show the format — delete them when you start.

How to add pictures so they never drift

  1. Excel 365: click the Photo cell → Insert → Pictures → Place in Cell. The image now belongs to the row, so sorting and filtering will not break it.
  2. Older Excel: insert the picture over the cell, then right-click → Format Picture → Properties → "Move and size with cells".
  3. Google Sheets: Insert → Image → Image in cell.
  4. Resize first to 300–500 px on the long side. A phone photo of 4000 px adds nothing to a price list and makes the file fifty times heavier.
If your file is already past 20–30 MB, that's the signal: Excel stays your working copy, and customers should get a link instead of an attachment. More on that below.

Volume pricing: how to set the tiers

The template has three tiers because that's what most wholesale price lists settle on: a base price for one case, a better one for a meaningful order, and the best for a pallet-sized one. A few rules that save arguments later:

Turn this template into a catalog with a cart

This template uses the same column layout aiprice reads automatically — photos included, straight from the cells. Upload the filled-in file and within one working day you get a link to an online B2B catalog: search, categories, full-size photos, a cart that respects case packs and minimum order, and orders delivered to your email as a spreadsheet ready for your accounting software. When prices change, you replace the file; the link stays the same. The first catalog is free for 30 days.

FAQ

Is the template really free?

Yes. No sign-up, no email required — it's a plain .xlsx file you can edit however you like.

Does it work in Google Sheets?

Yes. Open it with File → Import, or upload it to Google Drive and open with Google Sheets. Use Insert → Image → Image in cell for photos.

How many products can one price list hold?

The template is pre-formatted for 200 rows; add as many as you need. Past a few hundred products with photos, the file gets heavy to email — that's when a catalog link works better.

Can I use my own column names?

Of course. Rename, delete or add columns — just keep one product (or one size/color variant) per row and avoid merged cells.
